“Delicious Chicken”
Gina, from her blog, states that Pollo Sabroso means delicious chicken in Spanish. I think this family would have to agree. I used Gina’s marinade for some chicken legs (6, to be exact) and mixed up the ingredients before work the other morning. The chicken marinated all day. When I got home, I cooked them in a baking dish at 475 degrees for 35 minutes. I served them with a salad mix from Dominicks, and some leftover orzo from the other night!

Servings: 3 (2 legs per person, Gina used thighs)
WW Points: 3
6 medium chicken legs (Gina’s recipe calls for thighs – I put points this posting for legs)
1 tbsp vinegar
2 tsp soy sauce
1 packet Sazon (in Latin food aisle) – I used Goya brand
Adobo (in Latin food aisle) – I used Goya brand
garlic powder
oregano
Season chicken with vinegar and soy sauce. Add sazon, a generous amount of adobo, garlic powder, oregano and adobo and mix well. (Don’t use your hands or they will turn orange). Let chicken marinade at least 20 minutes (I marinated about 10 hours).
From here, I baked the legs at 475 degrees for 35 minutes, flipping once.

Looks delicious. I have chicken legs in the freezer and this looks like a perfect recipe for them. Is it spicy? My kids have trouble with spicy.

Nope, not spicy at all! Enjoy!
